Going back to the Lavazza Gran Crema which I have used for sometime.The Lavazza Gran Crema espresso makes rich dark chocolate color with a nice layer of crema and it tests great.I ordered the Lucaffe` Mamma Lucia espresso thinking it was going to be a more Sicilian blend (name like Lucaffe`) which is really good testing espresso. But instead it has a real bad test. Will never order this again.

I am a coffee addict, and a great cup of coffee starts my day on the right note. The Lucaffe Mamma Lucia blend makes a strong latte-based coffee with an aroma and body that comes up over the steamed milk. This is simply the best tasting coffee I've ever bought (maybe I've just always bought the wrong coffee?) and I love it!I only started using ESE pods recently, as I started to find making coffee using ground coffee was getting too messy, tedious and taking too long. Unfortunately, here in Singapore, I could only find illy pods. The illy Espresso Dark Roast pods are good, but pale in comparison to the Mamma Lucia. However I have to add that the illy pods are pre-tamped, while the Lucaffe ones are not. Tamping a pod is really quick and easy though, so I can live with it.Highly recommended!

These ESE pods are the best---------taste great, easy clean up, and will wake you up on those BAD mornings. I have used more expensive brands and these stack up well for 1/2 the price.
