I love the ESE pods for ease of use. Since Starbucks stopped making the ESE pods, I had to find an alternative. Compare to Starbucks, this is okay. If the strength of SBUX is 10, this would be around an 8. I will continue my search for something that is similar to that of Starbucks Dark Roast.

This coffee is fine. However, the pods don't seem to work too well in my Gaggia machine. I have to be very careful or it sprays water out of the sides of the pods. I prefer Segafreda and can get it at a much lower price than this cost.

This produces a very strong, dark roasted, cup of espresso. I like to taste more nuanced and less burnt flavors.
