i drink community coffee-i like expresso-i like a little sharp bite-but no after taste - this is a quality coffee- i like it a lot-and i have shared it with friends who have like tastes-it doesn't cloy in your mouth like some columbians- if you want a rich coffee in the morning-i think you will like this one-I DO

My neighborhood grocery store carries Colcafe at a low price. It is my favorite instant coffee. It is made in Columbia using ONLY 100% Arabica coffee beans, and roasted and packed in Columbia to ensure freshness.The VIA instant coffee at Starbucks is also very good, but Colcafe is better. You can buy a large jar and just put some in a tiny ziplock bag for weekend trips. Measure carefully. It has a stronger flavor than American instant coffee so a little goes a long way.

I first tasted Colcafe Instant Coffee while in Ecuador on a business trip. It, along with brewed coffee and tea were served during the morning and afternoon breaks. I generally drink only one cup of coffee a day with breakfast, but decided to try Colcafe because about 50 percent of the Ecuadorians preferred it to to the brewed. I didn't know wht to expect since I'm not a big coffee consumer, and certainly not an instant coffee drinker. Three things I noticed about Colcafe: you only need about a heaping teaspoon in the typical 10 - 12 ounce mug and it'll be strong, it has a slightly unusual taste, and it'll give a good jolt of energy - more so than the equivalent amount of brewed coffee.I brought a bottle home to let my wife, who drinks considerably more coffee than I do, try it. Bottom line is while she still prefers brewed coffee, she really likes Colcafe Instant and urged me to purchase more. So, if you're in a hurry and looking for a good strong cup of coffee, you should try Colcafe.
