Raven's Brew has many different blends and I have yet to have one that I don't like. However, I love the House Blend, and we get a bag(along with Deadman's) every time we place an order!

I am what may be called a coffee snob. I like a good cup of coffee and find the standard brands found in stores are not to my liking. I found Raven's Brew in a sale bin at a store and tried it. I liked it enough to order it twice. I prefer the Whole Bean House Blend, Dark Roast best. I have tried some of their other blends but prefer this as it gives a full bodied cup of coffee without the bitterness some brews have. I will order it again as it is not readily available in local stores.

I have to say that I love this whole bean coffee, one of my friends recommended it from when his parents brought him some from Alaska. I said I would give it a try and found that I liked it. The beans are roasted to a great level and it doesn't cross into the burnt taste that some cheaper blends tend to smell like. The taste of the coffee coming is great but can leave a acidic taste at the end. I don't know if possibly I'm grinding the beans into too fine of a mixture. (I have tried three different settings for grinding and haven't had any success with removing the bite at the end.Overall I would by this coffee again and the different flavors that it comes in are great. I highly recommend this dark roast if you are looking for a coffee to enjoy on the weekends when you aren't in a rush.
